Kogut & Wilson Introduces Genesis Hernandez as an Associate

Kogut & Wilson enthusiastically announces the addition of Genesis Hernandez to our growing team of knowledgeable, experienced family law attorneys. Genesis joins as an associate, practicing in all areas of family and matrimonial law. Fluent in Spanish, she also provides a personalized approach for Spanish-speaking clients, representing their best interests in each case.

Genesis first served Kogut & Wilson as a law clerk, gaining considerable knowledge of the firm’s clients and hands-on experience of the inner workings of family law. Coupled with her experience in cases concerning Guardian ad Litem, adoption and Orders of Protection, Genesis remains prepared to provide solutions for challenging family matters.

While earning her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law, Genesis received the Schiller, DuCanto and Fleck Family Law Fellowship which highlights 10 students a year for their outstanding achievement and leadership in family law studies. She also served as an Executive Board Member of the Latino Law Student Association where she pursued her passion for aiding underprivileged groups in the Chicago area.
