Super Lawyers makes its selections using a rigorous patented multiphase selection process consisting of peer nominations, evaluations and independent research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 different indicators of recognition and achievement to select the most exceptional attorneys.
No more than five percent of attorneys in each state are named Super Lawyers. Less than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state who are under 40 years old or have been in practice for 10 years or less are named to the Rising Stars list.
