Genesis Hernandez Joins FLASH; Discusses Organization in WBAI Newsletter

Kogut & Wilson associate Genesis Hernandez joined the Force of Lawyers Against Sexual Harassment (FLASH) in January 2023 as a member of the Board of Managers. In her role, Genesis works with the marketing subcommittee to manage the organization’s social media profiles to help bring awareness to the task force.

In the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois’ Spring 2023 newsletter (page 12), Genesis discussed FLASH’s mission and impact as well as her passion to give back and educate other attorneys regarding sexism, sex-based discrimination, sexual harassment and sexual assault. She also described how FLASH has empowered her throughout her first year of legal practice.

Through education and enactment of legislation, FLASH provides guidance to Illinois legal professionals regarding the prevention of sexism, sex-based discrimination, sexual harassment and sexual assault in the profession. Learn more about FLASH here.
